Crash installing Cygwin on Windows with Kaspersky

If you’re having crashes (BSOD) while trying to install Cygwin under Windows XP with the Kaspersky AV installed, just disable Kaspersky and remove the tray icon. This helped me to install it. Quick recipe…

HOWTO: Colorizing your Python source code on Apache

Here I will explain how to create a directory on your Apache web server, where every Python source code gets sintax highlighting when accessing it using a web browser.
(1) Download colorize.py
(2) Create the desired directory, ie http://www.yoursite.com/code/
(3) Upload the colorize.py file to the directory and rename it to colorize.cgi
(4) Give execution permissions to the colorize [...]

Laptop Temperature Monitor->CPU Temperature Monitor?

With the next release, Laptop Temperature Monitor will be capable to monitor temperatures on any modern computer (laptop or desktop), so i’m thinking of renaming the applet to CPU Temperature Monitor, so it won’t be associated just to laptops… Let’s see what happens…
UPDATE: I think the new name will be Computer Temperature Monitor
